Hello members:
We had another great meeting last night. George Kopp gave us tips and tricks (some from Joe Mertzlufft), Apple updates, as well as what we need to know about MacOS 26. And - now is the time to upgrade (we are at 26.1, so you don’t need to say no to .0 any longer).
Tasty snacks were provided by Rhonda Kuhlmann, Charlene Earley, Ann Lane, and Julie Koenigsfeld. We had yummy apples to dip in carmel along with pretzels and other treats.
In the second half of the meeting, your officers shared some of their favorite gadgets to add to your Christmas list.

Before I forget - mark your calendars to watch Apple’s announcement on September 9 at noon central time. It’ll pop right up on YouTube.
We had a fun, educational meeting on Tuesday. Wow! Thanks to Ann, Julie, and Sue for providing tips along with our regular tipster, Joe. Our special snack was Root Beer floats with cookies! Our door prize winners were:

George and I (mostly George) gave lots of tips on Safari. There were so many that we didn’t finish. We’ll share the rest in the next couple of meetings but the whole slide show is on our website: https://applejac.typepad.com/ along with the videos of the meeting.
Speaking of our website. . . we were notified on Tuesday that the host of our website (Typepad) is closing down at the end of the month. So your board will figure out a new home for it before then. Keep in mind - the videos of the meeting will be on Facebook, but only for a month. Lots of changes. . .
Speaking of Typepad - my husband used to have a blog "High Street Beat" - https://mayorlandwehr.typepad.com/mayor_landwehrs_blog/ - that he hasn’t published on for a number of years.
