We enjoyed presentations on AI by Leslie Bowman, Alice Kopp, and George Kopp.

Leslie and Alice laid the groundwork about what AI is and George gave us concrete examples as to how we can use Chat GPT to enhance your old photos. George emphasized that each one of us can do it! Given that information - I’d like to challenge you to enhance one or two of you own old photos with Chat GPT and share them at the next meeting! In order for your photos to be presented smoothly, please email an example or two to me (original and after) before the next meeting and I’ll put them together into a Keynote presentation. Please send them by May 1.

To get you inspired, here is what I did in just a few minutes:

Uploaded a terribly scratched picture of my brother and me and used George’s simple command:  “fix this photo” Well, it did but it gave me blue eyes (my eyes are brown), so I gave it the command to change my eyes to brown (see below) The names it gave the photos were “Couple posed in front of brick wall” and “Teenage friends in front of brick wall.” With the brown eyes it looks more like me. . .

Then, for fun, I asked ChatCPT to make a cartoon out of a photo of Sophie and me. It did and called it “Cheerful woman with her fluffy dog.”
